If you are in the market to convert your car to run on water this product is the one. Water4Gas has been around for years and is the clear leader in this industry. I am not just any reviewer I have not only read the manuals but I have built and installed the system on my cars and on a friends van. On my friends 1982 GMC van his mileage was around 8 city and 12 highway. This is a conversion van with captain seats in back and the raised roof etc. I installed a Water4Gas 4 pack system and the mileage went up to just under 17 MPG almost a 30% increase. I installed it on my 1990 Lexus (See below) and my MPG on that V8 went up to 29.88 MPG. My 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan went up to just over 37 MPG. All had about a 30% to 35% increase.
I am also a ROP Substitute teacher. One day when I was subbing for a auto tech class, I thought: “Hay let’s do a smell test on my 1990 Lexus”. The Lexus wants premium gas and gets regular gas, so it smells real bad. So I started it and everyone says OOOHHH YUCK it smells bad. Then I turned on my 2 electrolyzers and within seconds they could not smell anything. Some put their noses right next to the exhaust cupping their hands. Yes the emissions were greatly reduced. Water4Gas HHO?
Has anyone tried installing one of these on a Catera yet? I'm curious to know.
Yes they work. I have built and installed two systems on two different cars. Both still run fine and have seen an increase if fuel economy. Don't fool yourself into thinking you can double your gas mileage (at least not in any modern engine). It is not possible. Your pistons would melt in the cylinder running that lean. That is if your catalytic convertor didn't melt first.
I have not installed one on a Catera yet. I actually started to post a write up on this site last week. I decided against posting it until I came up with something more pleasing to the eyes. Next week I should be done and have it installed. I will post what I did and the results good/or/bad. I seen no reason that they will not be good based on my other installations.

and report up to 20% better gas mileage. More testing is being done but so far it works!
Tonight after work, I installed the system, went to the gas station. Filled up with 6.1 gallons on 177.4 miles = 29.08mpg (mostly highway). Then drove up and down Santiago Canyon road (no traffic) in Orange County, CA. Filled up again. Here are my first results.
1.3 gallons on 50.9miles = 39.1 mpg highway. That's roughly a 35% increase.
Not bad, not bad at all.

Honestly, YES it does work. I have done this to my 96 Saturn and currently get about 50 miles per gallon. Hope this helps.

It was then that I noticed that the size of the hoses and the reduced flow of the check valves could use some adjustments. Also, the choice of some of the fittings concerned me.
